Each May, my side of the family ventures down to South Padre Island for a week of part family vacation / part family reunion. This year was the first visit to the beach for both of the little boys. It was great fun to watch their discovery ...

Last year, Little Mommy would hardly get in the water; this year, she puts Budding Author to the challenge...

Our big boy fished in the ocean and caught 3 fish of his very own! He saw dolphin and even a hammerhead shark.
We are happy to be home to get some rest from that vacation we just had :)... isn't that the way it always goes?

How neat to see these pictures....we are going to travel to the beach in a few weeks and it will be Hope Giver's first time to see the ocean and stick her toes in the sand! We are excited to experience this with her.

Awesome photos of your family. I'm so glad you had a fun family vacation/reunion/worn out from the sun time. The beach is such a great vacation for little ones. We loved taking our children to Galveston when they were younger. Thanks for the updates, praying for June 5th and the job situation for Alex. Pray for Dennis to get a job that he has applied for. Also for our extra 5 acres to sell.
